Rosé Sangria
(Formulated by the Hedonista)
This is a lovely twist on Rosé for an easy afternoon. Works well also with white wine as well. Portuguese rosé vinho verde is my favorite, but any lightly sweet rosé will work. Sangrias are so simple and easy to be creative with depending on what you have and/or what is in season. So be creative and use this recipe as a guideline for the bones of any batch.
** Don’t add the citrus slices until just before serving. The piths can make it bitter if left in too long.

¼ cup organic cane sugar
1 bottle of Rosé
6 large organic strawberries (sliced)
1 6 inch piece of cucumber (peeled & thinly sliced)
1 jalapeño (seeded & sliced)
