Tuna Salad with a Twist

(Formulated by the Hedonista)

This tuna salad is wonderful!  It adds some different flavors and veggies to change it up.  Use what you have, experiment, have fun!

Ingredients:

1 can sustainable, hook line & caught, wild tuna

1 piece celery, chopped

Small handful fresh dill, chopped

1 sm red onion, chopped

½ yellow or orange bell pepper chopped

Pinch of Redmonds Course Sea Salt

1 sm red beet, chopped

½ tsp Pluck Pure (optional)

1 tsp whole grain mustard

Splash of tamari

3 Tbsp Primal Kitchen mayo

1 tsp red chili pepper flakes


Directions:

  • Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl and stir to combine.

  • Cover and put in the fridge for 30 minutes.  Serve chilled.

You always vary the vegetables and herbs.  So great with a wonderful seed cracker. Or crackers of any kind.  Pita, sourdough bread makes a wonderful “toast”.  Also wonderful with a scoop on assorted greens.

Try with slices of avocado, pickles, or potato chips on the side.
